yubico-piv-tool -a delete-certificate -s <slot> -k
Deletes a certificate from the specified slot. The corresponding private key does not get deleted unless it is overwritten.
Deleting a certificate is an actions that requires authentication, which is done by
providing the management key. If no management key is provided, the tool will try to
authenticate using the default management key.

change the Yubikey’s PIN, PUK and management key before starting using it]
